God Is Not Finished Yet: Keep Believing for Your Miracle

A lady boxing and fighting

Introduction

Have you ever prayed fervently for something, only to feel like nothing is happening? Maybe you’ve cried in secret, wondering if God sees you. If you're in a season of waiting, take heart—God is not finished with your story.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 (KJV)

What It Means to Wait on the Lord

Waiting is not passive; it is an active process. It may not feel active, but it is. In the kingdom of God, waiting is an act of worship. It means trusting that God is working even when you can’t see it. Psalm 27:14 reminds us to be courageous in our waiting, because the Lord will strengthen our hearts. That strength is what keeps us anchored when life feels uncertain.

God's timing is perfect. His delays are not His denials. Just because you haven’t seen the breakthrough yet doesn’t mean it’s not on the way. God is always working behind the scenes, arranging things in your favour, healing, aligning, and preparing. Many times, we want to see something quickly, we long to see the results immediately, but with God, that isn't the case. Many times, he is working in us, preparing us and building us to be better versions of ourselves.

Why We Lose Hope

It’s easy to feel discouraged when prayers seem unanswered or when life doesn't unfold the way we expected. Doubt creeps in. Fear takes root. But faith is not the absence of waiting; it is choosing to believe that God is faithful even in the wait.

The thing we must hold onto dearly in our waiting season is faith. If you have no faith, the devil can easily sway you. If you no longer trust God, then you will not recognise His dealings. The Bible says, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". That is to say, you still believe, even though you do not see the results, you still trust God to come through.

Abraham waited for decades to see the promise of a child. Joseph waited through betrayal, slavery, and prison before seeing his dreams come true. Even Jesus waited 30 years before stepping into His earthly ministry. If God made you a promise, He will fulfil it.

God Is Working Even When You Can’t See It

The enemy wants you to believe that silence means absence, but God often does His greatest work in silence. He is shaping you in the waiting. Your faith, your character, and your dependence on Him are all being refined.

Behind every delay is divine design. What you're waiting for may be big, but so is your God. The one thing we have failed to realise, or that we have been ignorant about, is that God's will is above anything else. Above your desires, prayers and faith. Sometimes we must just trust that God's will is perfect and that it will unfold at the right time.

Keep Believing

Don’t let go of your faith just because it’s taking time. Your miracle is not on hold; it is in the making. Be of good courage. Keep your heart open and your eyes fixed on Jesus. What He started, He will finish.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

A Prayer to Keep Hoping

Lord, I may not see it yet, but I believe You are working in my life. Help me to trust Your timing and not grow weary in the wait. Strengthen my heart and renew my hope every day. Amen.

Final Thought

Keep showing up. Keep trusting. Keep waiting. God is not finished yet—and your miracle may be closer than you think.
